We have an excellent opportunity for a high calibre, organised and effective Drylining Project Manager to take the lead on one of our larger schemes.
About the Role
This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to continue their career development or to take the next step in their career as a Project Manager.
Reporting to the Project Director you will need to:
· Work closely with the team to plan the project.
· Supervise the project team and manage all site operative's activities involving Health and Safety, Quality, Plant and Waste reduction.
· Ensuring that the project requirements, specification, design drawings, health and safety proposals are all read, understood and agreed.
· Ensuring that a project programme is in place and actively monitored and measured.
· Manage and maintain materials stock, plant and tools
· Liaise with Procurement dept. in producing and maintaining material schedules for the project, including take off from issued drawings and specifications, and produce requisitions
· Ensure that all works carried out are undertaken to the required quality standards, manufacturers details and issued drawings
· Assist the commercial team in assessment of project costs and revenues
· Attend all project pre-start and contract review meetings. Prepare all necessary reports and minutes
· Create and maintain a productive relationship with the client, main contractor and site operative's
Candidate
· Ideally would be suitable for someone who has held a Project Manager role for a Dry lining, Joinery, Suspended Ceilings contractor and worked on projects with values ranging between £2m-10m
· Someone who has a can-do attitude and or keen to progress from a Site Manager position would be considered
· Have excellent management capabilities
· Able to build good relations with clients and communicate effectively
· Have relevant qualifications and accreditations
