MPG have recently completed their contract works at one of London's flagship construction projects, 20 Fenchurch St; (The Walkie Talkie). MPG staff and operatives were responsible for the installation of internal finishes comprising of suspended ceilings using SAS system 130 Q grid, Trucell ceilings to the fire vestibules and plasterboard ceilings to lift lobbies and toilet corridoors. Drylining was finished to core areas which included stairs and shaft wall risers along with the decorative finish of glass reinforced gypsum (GRG) to columns extended over 31 floors. MPG also completed the aluminium cladding to the annex building with a combined contract value of £2.5m.
MPG's association with Canary Wharf Contractors was based on a common goal to deliver a high quality product in a cost effective and timely manner. Andrew Heath-Richardson, Project Executive for Canary Wharf has commented that MPG took a proactive approach and fulfilled all of their obligations to a very high standard.
The MPG team completed the project on time and on budget and look forward to working together again in the near future.
